homecoming
this weekend was homecoming...SO much fun!
all week we worked on our lawn decoration, which i painted a bunch of portraits on that may i say look AWESOME :). we didn't win the lawn decoration but we dominated everything else--we one first in dance competition, paint the town red (Basically every organization gets a store/restaurant and paints the window all spirited), and our float. Our float was really cool--it had jerseys on a hute checkered wall and Joe Nameth (sp?) and his daughter (who's one of our girls) was on it. the theme for homecoming this year was family tradition and since joe played for bama before going pro...it was perfect for the theme because now his daughter goes here! it was awesome. WE FREAKING WON SPIRIT CUP and our president of ADPi went down ON the field and claimed the SPIRIT CUP! :D YAY! it was a grrrreat honor.
we are most definitely 8-0. we kicked butt with a score of 35-3. woot woot.
my mom and step dad came into town this weekend so that was fun. we had a lot of fun together hangin' out and such. they got to experience yet another alabama homecoming--but it was even better then last year since adpi won homecoming. AHH! i am so excited about that.
anyways--i am EXHAUSTED so it's sleep time for me! good night!
