OH HEY THERE, FOLKS
Temps are way up high, school is out, it's past Memorial Day...it's definitely summer. There's no denying it anymore. You may have noticed that we're already halfway through July and yet there is no Spawn fic being posted.
After speaking with some of the other regular Spawn fic authors, a decision was made not to hold an official Spawn summer this year. Between busy schedules and a number of other outside events, there were a number of brainstorming sessions to decide how we wanted to proceed. The best solution was to cancel Spawn summer for this year and to revisit the opportunity come next summer.
That's not to say there won't be any spawn fic at all. The comm will remain open and if an author would like to post on a Tuesday they can go right ahead and do so, but there is no definite plan to post anything.
I'm really sorry for those who were looking forward to Spawnfic as it has been a sort of tradition the last two years. Hopefully, next summer we'll all be back for Spawn Summer 2011, but only time will tell.
