Hi, everyone! I'm right now updating this profile, after many years, from a hospital bed. As some people know, my health has been on a steady decline since...well, most of my life, really, but recently it's been getting worse.
As in, terminally worse.
I won't depress any of you with the gruesome details, but suffice to say that Enternity will be my last piece of fan work. I've given all my log in info and notes to Silent Tears to a good friend of mine who knows what to do with such things in the event of my upcoming eternal rest. For those of you wondering, all of my work will be uploaded to AO3 upon my death so that future readers will be able to enjoy my writing even after I'm gone and that way it won't be just here if this site should also go the way of Geocities, LJ, Angelfire, Tumblr, etc. (In the hospital and I'm still bitter that my tumblr was taken down for the horrendous crime of having too many ladies kissing. Like, that had to be the reason, cause I sure as hell didn't have any NSFW content on it. Sigh.)
Anyway, I am as of right now feeling okay and will be released back home shortly. I have home care and my wife looking after me and endless time to do whatever I want since I finally had to quit my day job and admit to myself that I wasn't going to go back to professional journalism.
I will get as much of Enternity done as possible and I actually have quite a lot of it typed up and written out elsewhere so at the very least it won't be a discontinued work. Completely, at least.
Fandom has been my lifeline and the best part of my life so I want to go out without any regrets and without anything unfinished. Thank you for enjoying my work and for reading it, even if many of you have never left reviews or spoke to me.
