Thought I'd post an update on the goings on around me. I went to court last Thursday and they accepted the plea bargain my lawyer had offered. I'll serve 45 days in jail and be on probation for three years. I have to report to jail on the 11th of January. Not the start of a year that I was hoping for, but I was expecting it. At least they let me stay out until after the holidays. Hopefully they'll let me out for huber so I can still work. I've got bills to pay and they aren't going to pay themselves. The crappy things is huber costs $144 a week, not to mention that since I will be driving myself back and forth to jail I'll have to park at the gas station across the street from the jail. That'll cost an additional $30 a week or so I hear. After I get out of jail they're going to charge me $45 a month for the duration of my probation. This is what numbers I've been hearing, so I'm not sure if they're correct or not. Also since Stacey's sister owns the house we live in, she still wants me to pay rent seeing as my "stuff" will still be here. Total BS so I might have to pack everything up and move it somewhere so I don't have that extra bill hanging over my head.
Settled with the lady whose car I hit. I agreed to pay $250 a month for the total sum of around $2300. That has to be paid by the 10th of every month, not to mention my phone bill is due by the 10th as well which is around $60. So all in all I have to have around $600 at the beginning of the month without the whole huber thing. Like I said I need money so losing my job is not an option. I'm just waiting till my taxes come back so I can pay off the lady I hit so that bill will be gone.
Regarding my previous post, I had been in a bad mood and too many things had found their way into my immediate thoughts which caused me to write that entry. I also had a little alcohol in the system which never helps when your emotions slip out of control. That post was more of a milestone post for myself for later reference. I can assure I am fine and back to my old self and not in any seriously bad moods.
Well I guess that's pretty much the meat of what I wanted to say so now I'll be getting ready to go and hang out with friends and family for my birthday which is today. ;) I'm 23, whoo hoo for me. If I don't post anything in the near future, Happy New Year to everyone!
