well, i finally got home from my trip last night. I think i will be happy if i never get in a car again, four days of driving is ridiculous. The trip from oregon to michigan should take 2-3 days, that is if nebraksa doesnt decide to get smashed with a gigantic snow storm that dumps up to 18 inches across I-80 which is the route that you take to go home. The nebraksa DOT decided that because of the giant storm that they should just close every east/west freeway in the state. We had to drive south to I-70 which took us 300 miles out of our way just so we could keep going. We left sunday morning and got home yesterday afternoon around 3.
We did stop and stay in Utah for a night with my cousin Brian in his giant rich doctor wooden mountain mansion,that was super dope. That added a little time to the trip home but it was totally worth it to stay there instead of a motel 8 or some shit, we had greek coffee and pancakes in the morning and then hung out in the hot tub for a while before we got back on the road. Utah is awesome, the general populus there is super conservative Latter day saints but they have some of the best mountains in the country and the lanscape is beautiful. I kinda wish i wouldve moved there when i graduated like i originally planned.
By the time the trip was done we covered 13 states in two weeks;
michigan
indiana
illinois
iowa
nebraska
wyoming
utah
idaho
oregon
california
colorado
kansas
missouri
When i go back out there in july (for school) jack and i are gonna drive I 90 which is north and takes us through montana and some much more scenic areas so by the we are done there wont be many states in the west that i havent driven through. Im excited to get back out there, i think im done with flint for a while.
colorado, kansas, anda missouri were all part
