I moved into my new office this past week. It may not be on the top floor or a corner office, but it's so much nicer with a window, a view of uptown and natural sunlight.
Yesterday I got to reconnect with a friend from high school. We were good friends in HS and haven't seen each other for over 25 years (he found me on FB). He's the one who got me to run in the Susan Komen race for breast cancer. We had a good time at the run and then dinner last night reminiscing and catching up on our lives. The run was great and very emotional at times seeing all those women (and some men) who were breast cancer survivors. It reminded me of my aunt who lost her battle with cancer a long time ago. There were over 16,000 who participated and over $1M was raised.
