I agree with you about Kif. His return was predictable. As soon as I saw the jar of his goo I knew he was coming back. Honestly, the thing that annoyed me most about BWABB was the whole dating/breakup gag. Oh hey, let's pretend like two entire Universes act like individual people dating. It was amusing for the first minute or so, but then they just threw in more relationship problems - hence my comment about coming off as whiny. Which brings me to the other thing I didn't like about BWABB: at the end of BBS, Fry and Leela were finally together, or so I thought. I thought that the Lars plotline would serve the purpose of making Leela realize that Fry can be the man she needs. And then Fry up and starts dating someone else, right when the woman he's been chasing for eight years is within reach? That bugs the hell out of me.
So yeah, different strokes and all that. :)
