Ball State Rant
So, I've been sick since Friday...to me, it seems like that would be about the time I need to head to a doctor and see what's up. Problem: I don't have health insurance. Solution? "Oh, Ball State has a health center that treats students for free...awesome!"
I go to the Health Center and I'm told that since I'm not taking 7 or more credit hours this summer, they can't see me unless I pay a $40 charge. So much for free services. On top of that, I AM taking 9 credit hours this summer but since 3 of them are in an internet class, they apparently don't count. Guess we'll just see how my immune system holds up...
