Today I registered for an itunes account and started downloading music *GASPO* legally. I figure now's a good time to do it, since I'm making some money. I've used Morpheus in the past, but it's been pissing me off lately. There's a number of songs I've been dying to have on my computer, but I don't have the time to sift through Morpheus downloads to find an "authorized" one. Since when does illegal music have to be authorized?? I have also heard that the RIAA is cracking down on illegal downloads. I love itunes because I can find all the songs I want really easily, and the downloads take seconds. My new favorite song is "Everything" by Buckcherry. I love love love it.
Last week I completed my first year of graduate school, and I'm so glad I decided to do it and not listen to the people who said I wouldn't do well right out of undergrad because I didn't know enough. On the contrary, I think I've had an advantage over some of the people who have been out of school for years. It seemed like some people were really struggling to get back into the whole school thing, whereas it wasn't much of an adjustment for me. I have only one class this summer, so I'm kind of looking forward to the break. Looking at the progression plan for the FNP program, I'll might have to cut my hours at work next spring semester, when I have 3 classes. I guess we'll have to see.
