WVU-Rutgers game last night...awesome. It was midnight and freaking 20 degrees and I couldn't feel my toes, but there was no place I would have rather been when Vaughn Rivers knocked away the Rutgers two-point conversion pass at the end of the 3rd overtime to win the game. WVU hasn't exactly lived up to expectations this season, but a triple overtime home victory against a higher-ranked conference rival without our starting quarterback was a hell of a way to finish the regular season. A few years ago we would have killed for a 10-2 season. It kind of sucks that the best we can hope for right now is the Gator Bowl, but what can you do? It's not a BCS bowl, but it's still decent. And with White and Slaton, there's always next year.
My final big paper for this semester is due Wednesday. The due date was pushed back, and now I can't motivate myself to work on it.
