You don't know how right you are about the creepy and weird. And not in an interesting way. In a stuck-in-the-fifties-and-resembling-children-trying-to-re-enact-complicated-ceremonies-they-saw-once-on-tv-or-just-heard-about-vaguely type of way. You'd think people so old would want to keep things nice and brief. I swear to god I wish you guys could sit in on one of these meetings just to see the ridiculous/torturously boring and pointless nature of it all. I think my mother thought I'd be into it because I've done theatre stuff before... I CANNOT STRESS HOW VERY VERY WRONG SHE WAS.
Just get back to me on the ride thing. No big deal as long as I know before I start driving up.
I am decidely against the concept of working at work. It's just wrong and should be abolished.

I think I'm now rather glad I will never see a Masonic ceremony. Man. I was hoping it was at least sort of fun. Apparently not.
I may not know about the ride until close to the end of June, because Tim doesn't know how he's going to feel about missing an opportunity to see his family, but I'll make sure to get back to you with a couple of days to spare, at least.
I agree with you about working at work. I have done very little of it this week. Sadly, next week I'll have to start working again. *sigh*
