Yuki: Make Up

Sep 08, 2010 10:48

Oh look another one. This one is long, It was going to be longer but I decided to stop and save the rest for tomorrow. Plus I need a break. I've been at this for like five hours already. lol.
Enjoy!

The next morning at breakfast, Yuya made an announcement to the sleepy family. He told them that him and I would be moving in together, soon. Though only after we had found a place. Of course everyone had already known about this, though this was his official announcement.

“Yuki, don't you have your own place?” Kei asked me.

I looked up from my plate and nodded. “Hai I do, but its too small for Yuya and I. It's barely big enough for me anymore.”

“Ah, I see” he responded and continued eating. I too continued to eat my breakfast.

It was a few minutes before I was asked another question.

“Ne, Yuki, how big of a place will you two be getting?” the question cam from Hikaru, which surprised me.

“Ano, I'm not sure yet.” I glanced at Yuya who simply smiled. “I was thinking maybe a two bedroom place. I'd like to turn the second bedroom into a sort of studio for my design work. Ano, I want to be more serious about it.”

“It's good to be serious about your works. Especially when it is your career choice” Hikaru smiled. There were a few ignored muffled giggles at the table.

The rest of the breakfast was enjoyed with small talk about various things. I helped clean up the table and do the dishes along with the other girls. It wasn't till I was heading up the stairs with Yuya that I was approached by Kei.

“Yuki, Yuya...can I talk to you two?” he asked.

I glanced at Yuya for a moment. “Hai, of course.” I responded. We then headed to Yuya's room where we sat down to talk.

Kei looked at me then at Yuya and he faintly smiled. “I was wondering, since we are both looking for a place, if you would like to find a place together?”

It was silent for a moment and I smiled. “I think that’s a wonderful idea. I mean it had already crossed my mind, when I heard you were going to be moving out too.” I said.

“Hai, I like the idea.” Yuya smiled. “It sounds like fun too.”

Kei grinned. “Then it's settled then. I suppose I'll be going with you two when you go look for a place.”

“Of course, you have a say in where we live as well.”

“Oh I asked Seren to live with me, demo when she is ready to though. That's okay right?” I watched as he blushed faintly.

Both Yuya and I nodded, it was indeed okay. “Seren is more than welcome to live with us as well.” Yuya smiled warmly.
It was silent for a long moment, as we all three thought about the subject at hand.

“Ano, I suppose maybe we'll have to look for a house to rent instead of an apartment.” I spoke up. It made sense, for four people. We'd need at least three bedrooms, but the apartments with that many bedrooms tended to still be a bit cramped.

Both guys looked at me with a questioning look. I laughed some. “I mean an apartment might still be a bit too cramped for all of us. Especially since you two are use to the room you have here. Plus you would need room for your work as well, Kei.”

They both nodded.”Sounds like a plan then. Demo when are you going to start looking?” Kei asked.

I looked at Yuya, I was unsure. “Tomorrow maybe.” he responded.

“Ah okay.” Kei then stood.. “Just let me know when you decide.” he smiled and left the room, closing the door behind him.

I looked over at Yuya. “I'm already excited about it!” I grinned.

“Hai, so am I really.” He smiled and leaned towards me, kissing me on the cheek.

-

Later that same day Yuya and I headed over to my apartment with a few empty boxes. We entered the apartment and slipped our shoes off before heading to the main room. There I found everything as I had left it, my futon was still out and some of my drawers were half open from when I was grabbing clothes.

With a long sigh I folded up the futon and put it away. I watched as Yuya looked around for a moment before looking at me.

“You don't own a lot of things.” he said and poked at a stuffed animal.

“Iie, I don't really. I have too many clothes though. Most of them don't fit, I'm going to donate them to the orphanage.” I said as I sat down in front of my dresser a box at my side. I opened the bottom drawer and started pulling out clothes, putting them in the box. The bottom drawer was all stuff that I didn't wear any more.

About two hours later we were pretty much done. I had boxed up and labeled everything I was donating to the orphanage, three small boxes in total. My own belongings were in two boxes and a duffel bag. I seriously didn't own much.

Just as we were going through the food in the kitchen there was a knock at the door. I tensed up for a moment, my mind automatically thinking it was Rai. I headed to the door and slowly opened it. There I found my landlord. He's a really nice guy.

“Konnichiwa Yuki.” he smiled kindly.

“Oh, konnichiwa Inoue-san.” I returned the smile.

“I saw you bring some boxes up, are you moving?” he asked curiously.

“Ah, hai I am moving soon. I was going to let you know on my way out. Ano I'll be getting a place with my boyfriend and his brother.”

“Oh, congratulations.” he smiled. Him and I had gotten close over the few years I lived there, he was like a father to me in ways. He looked out for my well being.

“Arigatou.” I smiled and stepped aside letting him in. He entered and toed off his shoes.

“If you don't mind I'll just do the quick inspection now.” he said as he entered.

“Go ahead.” I smiled.

Yuya peeked out from the kitchen, the two greeted each other before Inoue-san started to look around.

“Ne, Yuki, this place looks just the same as when I first rented it to you.” he said about five minutes later, once he was done looking around.

“Hai. I tried.” I smiled.

“Ano, have you found a place yet?”

“Iie, not yet, I'm staying with Yuya and his family for now.”

“Oh I see. How big of a place are you looking for?” He asked curiously.

“Maybe a four bedroom.” Yuya spoke up. I looked at Yuya a moment. A four bedroom was big, but what we needed. “Though a three bedroom could work as well.” He added.

“Hmm. I do have a house nearby that I'll be renting out. Demo, it's a five bedroom though. Ano, its the house I raised my family in, once all the children moved out my wife and I moved to a apartment here. We decided to keep the house, and rent it out.” He smiled and seemed a bit excited about the possibility of renting it out to us.

I looked at Yuya for a moment, we didn't expect to come across something this quickly. “What do you think, Yuuyan?” I questioned him curiously.

“We'll have to look at it.” He smiled. I returned the smile and looked at Inoue-san.

“Ano, how much is rent?” I asked curiously.

“Four times your current rent. Though I'll be willing to lower it bit for you Yuki. You are a nice girl, and I know you'll take care of the property.”

I bit my lower lip a moment in thought. I could afford up the three times my current rent on my own. But that didn't include utilities. I looked at Yuya for a moment, I factored in what he made, and could contribute. Then my mind went to Kei, I know he would be getting a job, so with his share it would be more than possible.

“How much lower?” I asked suddenly.

“Hmm, for you, I'll take half off the rent. I know you are still in school. I trust you Yuki.” he smiled and patted my shoulder.

Oh it was a very good offer, I felt bad though, about him lowering the rent for me.

“When can we look at it?” Yuya asked..

“Ano, tomorrow, I'm pretty busy today.” Inoue-san smiled.

“Tomorrow, is good.” I smiled.. “In the morning, ten maybe?”

“Hai ten is good. Stop by the office on your way out and I'll give you the address and such.” Inoue-san said as he headed to the door and slipped on his shoes.

“Hai! I will. Arigatou Inoue-san!” I chirped. I was really happy. We may have found a place to live, a house no less.

A house with Yuya....the thought it made my heart go doki doki. Yuya and looked at each other once Inoue-san had left. He smiled and wrapped his arms around me pulling me close to him. Without a word spoken with both simply kissed one another.

After a few moments we let each other go. We finished going through the kitchen, throwing out the food that was no good and ketp the rest. We would take that back to the house, we knew it would be eaten there, food seemed rather popular among teenage boys.

With everything all done, we loaded up the car. I went through the apartment one last time. I had gotten everything. Everything was just as It had been when I first got it. The place had come furnished, so all the furniture would stay.

Having gotten everything I locked up and headed back down. I stopped by the office and handed in my keys and got the address to the house we might be renting. I also got my security deposit returned to me. I would just save it and use it towards where ever we might move to.

Our first stop would be the orphanage. We got in the car and buckled up, Yuya looked over at me with a smile. “Ano where is the orphanage?” He asked as he started the car.

“Oh, it's the one just a few miles from your house.” I said and smiled.

He looked surprised for a moment. “That's the one you grew up in?” he questioned.

“Hai, the very one.”

We pulled out of the parking lot. “That's the one I stayed at.” Yuya spoke softly.

“Oh?” It had caught me off guard, knowing that. My heart ached for a moment as I remembered something. I remembered back to when I had seen Kota there. He had picked up a boy about my age. I then suddenly remembered what the boy looked like. I then remembered the picture of Yuya when he was younger.

“Ano...Yuuyan..you were the boy I say Kota pick up...when I was little.” That jealousy I had felt then came back for a moment as I remembered it all. I remembered Yuya now, he seemed like a shy boy then, I remember hearing him cry at night. I felt bad for him then, and then I wanted to be friends with him, but I was afraid.

“Ah, hai. I was. I didn't know, Yuki.” His left hand moved from the steering wheel and took my right hand. He squeezed it gently. “Gomen..”

I looked at him and smiled. The jealousy went away, because I was part of that family now. “You have nothing to be sorry for. I'm part of the family now Yuuyan. Its in the past. Though I feel bad, for not being your friend then, when you needed one.”

“It's okay Yuki. We are together now. This was how it was meant to happen.” He glanced over at me and smiled before putting his eyes back on the road.

It wasn't much longer till we were at the orphanage. I saw Rai's car in the parking lot and let out a faint sigh. She was working there today. I couldn't avoid her forever, so I just pushed it aside.

We unloaded the boxes and took them in. They were happy to receive the donations. It was the best I could do in return for them taking care of me when I stayed there.

It wasn't until we were leaving that I saw Rai. She had come out of her office. I tensed up when I saw her, and Yuya took my hand squeezing it gently. Something in me was telling me I needed to talk to her, to stop being childish and avoiding her. I hadn't really thought much on the topic though.

I looked at my wrist, the bruise was still there though it had half faded. I saw her eyes look at my wrist. I looked at Yuya and let my hand slip from his.

“Ano, I think it's time that I talk to her.” I said and half smiled. He nodded.

Taking a deep breath I walked over to Rai. “I'm ready to talk.” I said to her.

She looked surprised, but she smiled understanding. We went to her office, it was rather awkward feeling for me. I didn't know what to say, or what I should say.

Once the door was shut we both sat down. It was silent for a long moment.

“Yuki, I'm very sorry for what I did to you. It was uncalled for. I shouldn't have taken my problems out on you. I shouldn't have forced you to take your pills. You were right, you don't need them anymore.”

I was unsure of what to say.

“You were also right about not needing me anymore. Yuki, you've grown so much so fast, since you met Yuya. I've seen the change in you, a good change. You've opened up finally, you've become your own person.” she looked like she was about to cry.

“Ano, Rai-chan...I forgive you. I know you didn't mean what you did. I do though, hope you've gotten help for your own problems. Demo, without you I would never have gotten this far in life. I'd still be that shy scared girl, hiding from the world. You're right though, I have changed a lot, mentally as well as physically. If you had asked me a few months ago where I thought I'd be now. I never would have been able guess it right. I'm happy, and I have a family now, and a loving boyfriend. I couldn't ask for more. Arigatou Rai-chan, for all our help.” I smiled and felt a few tears escape.

Rai had started to cry as well, and we were silent for a long while.

“Ano, Yuki you look good. You look happy now.” she smiled.

“Hai, I am happy. Yuya and I are going to get a place together, with his brother Kei. A house maybe.” I grinned. Rai looked surprised.

“Ah that's wonderful news Yuki! I'm happy for you.”

“Arigatou. I've already moved out of my apartment. Kota and Hikaru are letting me stay with them until Yuya and I find a place.”

“Those two are so kind.”

“Hai they are, I love them already...Rai-chan...we..can still be friends right?”

It was silent for a long moment.

“Hai, of course, if you want.”

“I do want that. I can't imagine not being friends with you. Even after you hurt me, a part of me was lonely and wanted to talk to you.” I smiled.

Rai moved from her desk and sat by me her arms wrapping around me in a hug. I returned the hug and we stayed like that for a moment.

“Have you two done it yet?” she asked suddenly.

I pushed her away in shock but then laughed. “Iie, it hasn't been the right time.”

“Ah, okay. I agree it has to be just the right time..”

“Demo, he has tried though.” I giggled. Rai raised a brow.

“Details?”

“Iie! Never in a million years.” I laughed and Rai laughed as well.

There was a sudden knock at the door and Rai looked at her watch.

“Oh my appointment is here. We'll talk another time Yuki.” she then hugged me before standing.

“Okay.” I said and stood.

Rai went to the door and opened it, letting the two people in before I slipped out of the room. I headed back to Yuya who was in the waiting area.

“How did it go?” He asked as I approached him.

“It went good, Rai and I are friends again.” I smiled.

“That's good.” He returned the smile and we headed out to the car.

Our next stop was home. Where we unloaded my stuff and the food I had brought over. My things went into a storage area, the things I didn't need right away that is. While the rest of my belongings were taken to Yuya's room.

We then headed to the kitchen where we put away the food,.

“It's almost like we went shopping.” I giggled as we put the last of it away.

“Hai it is isn't it. Mama will be happy.” Yuya smiled.

“Wanna watch TV?” he asked as he leaned back against a counter.

“Sure.” I smiled and stepped forward. I wrapped my arms around his neck and felt his arms move around my waist. I kissed him softly on the lips more a moment and he returned the kiss.

A moment later we heard someone clear their throat loudly, it was Ryosuke, and Yuri was standing there beside him, a giggle escaping him. Yuya and I broke the kiss and looked at them. I blushed some before slipping from Yuya's arms. Ryosuke gave me an odd look and I laughed some.

“Ne Ryosuke, did you want one too?” I asked as I stepped towards him.

“Iie, I'm good.” he grinned and chuckled some.

“Oh okay then.” I said, then without warning I gave him a kiss on the cheek like ones given between siblings. I watched him blush some before he headed to the fridge, Yuya laughed some.

“Yuki, I want one too!” Yuri fake pouted.

I couldn't help but giggle some at Yuri's reaction. “I have one for you too” I said and then kissed him on the cheek as well. I didn't expected him to wrap his arms around me though in a hug. I hesitantly hugged him back, having been caught a bit off guard. This only made Yuya laugh some more at the situation.

That was when I really felt accepted by Yuya's siblings, at least Yuri and Ryosuke. They felt like they were my own brothers. I felt comfortable around them, enough to be my normal playful self.

A few minutes later we were in the living room in front of the TV , Yuri had taken up residence in my lap. We watched a drama. Luckily though it was a new one, so it was the first episode, and I wouldn't be confused about what was going on.

It was just after the episode had ended that my phone rang, part of an Arashi song playing from it. Yuri looked at me and grinned as I fished the phone from my pocket and flipped it open answering it.

“Moshi moshi.” I spoke into it.

“Hai this is her.”

“Oh Yamapi! Gomen, I didn't look at the caller ID before I answered.” I said, and Yuri slipped off of my lap. I then moved off the couch. I glanced at Yuya, and saw a hint of jealousy in his eyes.

“Iie, I'm not busy.” I said as I left the room so I wouldn't disturb them. I now stood in the kitchen.

“Today? The Jimusho? Ah Hai, I can make it there.”

“Ah hai, arigatou, I'll see you in a little bit then.” We both hung up.

I looked up to find Yuya standing in the door way, he didn't look that happy.

“Daijoubu?” I asked, concerned.

I watched as he bit his lip, and shook his head. I approached him and wrapped my arms around his waist.

“What's wrong love?”

“Why does he have your number?” Yuya asked suddenly. I was a little shocked.

“I gave it to him. He liked my designs, he took one to his stylist. He asked for my number in case there were any questions.” I said and kissed him softly. He didn't return the kiss.

“Oh.”

“Ano, Yuuyan. It's not what you think. I love you and only you. Yamapi is just a friend. Nothing more.” I smiled faintly and kissed his cheek. He put his arms around me and pulled me close.

“Gomen, I can't help but feel this way. Protective of you, jealous of him. I love you Yuki, I don't want to lose you.” he spoke softly.

“I understand. Demo, I won't ever leave you for anyone else. I won't ever leave you for any reason. I'm your forever and ever.” I kissed him once more, this time he returned it.

“Yuuyan, none of those idols can ever steal my heart from you. Ano, though can you take me to the Jimusho?”

He then laughed softly and gave me a quick squeeze before letting me go.

“Hai I can. What do you need to go there for?”

“Oh, the designers want to talk to me, they need my help on the design. I never had time to make notes on it, like the materials to use and such.” I grinned.

“I'm proud of you Yuki.” he said suddenly.

“Arigatou. I'm going to gather my things.” I said and slipped away from him heading out of the room and upstairs. I grabbed my bag and such, as well as my sketch pad plus my older already full one just in case they wanted to see more.

I headed back down after a few minutes.

“Yuki where are you going?” Yuri asked curiously.

“The Jimusho, ano the designers and stylists like a design I made. Yamapi took it a showed them. They need my help with it” I smiled.

“Oh, okay.” he smiled happily.

“I'll be back later.” I stated before I headed to the door, I slipped on my shoes, Yuya was right behind me.

A few minutes later we were in the car heading to the Jimusho. That's when I started to feel nervous. I had never dreamed I'd be going there because they liked my designs.

I'm excited at the same time.
