Here it is ladies and gentlemen, my first post in forever. I know that you all are very excited. However, I don't think that I have much to say. Here it goes...
Work is well, work. I love the kids and hate the adults, except Carlie, I love her. It's not very fun to get your Monday schedule the Friday before and your Tuesday through Friday schedule on Monday. I would like to know where, and when, I am working at least 3 days in advance. Then I could plan my life. I sure hope that they finally scheduled someone else for tomorrow afternoon or else I will be working from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Doesn't sound like a good way to spend a Friday does it?
On a positive note, Brad and I are finally going to start work on our fire-pit this weekend. We are putting it in my yard where the willow tree was. For those of you who didn't know, it fell down last year. It's a little bit of a funny story, if you want to know, ask. Anywho yesterday I started taking rocks out of the area and this weekend we are clearing everything else. Can't wait to roast marshmellows with all you guys later this summer.
Speaking of Brad we went with Chad and Vanessa (yes girlfriend number 5 this year) to see their birth mother. It was weird. She moved to gun lake so she isn't that far from Sherri's house, which might be a bad thing, we will have to see. We just sat around and talked, and had a fire outside in their misquito-ridden yard. I have a million bites this morning. She wants us to come over more and go on their boat. Brad and Chad finally met their five year old half-sister. She's a pistol, but of course super cute.
Well, there it is. Soccer is going good. Summer is going too fast (havn't even gone to the beach yet). I love seeing my friends from high school, sad that Brooke is gone for the rest of the summer, but hate that I never get to see my friends from school. They all just need to move closer! Okay so if there was any moving it would have to be me and Colleen because everyone else already live by eachother, but it's fun to pretend. Hopefully I will see them next week for Carleen and Laura's recital, but who knows what my work schedule is. Maybe I'll find out today...
