(no subject)
had a very scary night at work tonight
i was closing with this other girl julie and at about 9:15 the phone rings...i answer it and the person on the other end said they're calling from our security company saying that they were receiving an alert that we were having an emergency and were checking to make sure we were ok...when i told him we were fine and there was no emergency he told me i had to go reset the keypad, so i asked julie where the keypad was and she shouted to me we didn't have a security company...the guy on the other end of the phone goes "i must have the wrong number" and hung up...that was when i knew we'd just been cased...he was just calling to see if we had a security system...i *69-ed him but it wouldn't connect...he must have blocked it...so i locked all the doors, the drive thru window, everything but i had to stay open, and julie and i started to get really scared...i looked out the window and realized that there was a car sitting in the parking lot across from us and it had been there for 2 hours or so...not a big deal except that it was an office building and it's 9:30 pm on a sunday night...nobody's in their office at that time, but there was a light on in the building...julie and i decide that if the car is still there and the light on when we leave we'll call the cops but until then we were going to soldier on...so scared shitless we continued serving customers until 11:30 when the car was STILL there...at that point we weren't going to risk it anymore and called the police...they came, took our story, and went over to the office to check it out...unfortuneatly they can't prove whether or not the person there was the one casing us but he wasn't supposed to be there regardless so they made him leave and we left an hour later safely, but i'm scared to go back tomorrow...i'm closing allllll week
