LJazarus, come forth...
Okay, I haven't posted in...a really, really long time. I honestly don't know why, especially as I've been on my computer a fair bit. So I really have no defense (not that I necessarily need one, though I do want to apologize to friends I've kind of ignored the past few months).
Part of the reason I've been on my computer a lot if because I quit my job back in mid-may. I don't want to go into the reasons on the internetz, but if anyone wants the lowdown they can email or PM me.
I've been looking for work, but the longer I'm out of work the more I lose "momentum" and tend to sort of sink into everyday life. I'm on unemployment, which is good in that it keeps me from falling into debt (it's enough to pay my bills) and bad in that it removes motivation for me to seek work. I really need to get off my keister and work harder at finding a job.
What else has been happening? The last few months? Oh, not much.
1.) I've been messing around with D&D a lot (big surprise). May do a rant on it sometime in the future.
2.) Kids are doing great, but growing up way too fast...Rachie isn't a baby anymore! *sob* Casey is good too.
3.) In fact, Casey is better than good...she's pregnant! (yes, that made no sense)
This will be baby #4, and TEH LAST. I am making an absolute declarative here; if Casey doesn't get her tubes tied, I am totally having the vasectomy. Four kids is good. More than that is (IMHO) a minor form of masochism.
4.) Since it's been forever, how 'bout some pics? Sound good? To me too!

Oh, and here's one of me and my kids when we went camping recently (we totally went "nerd camping"; it rained a lot, so we spent most of the time in the tent, with Wyatt & Trish playing our Nintendo DS's, me using the laptop, and Rachie watching "Backyardigans" on Casey's iPod). Anyway, here's us all snuggled together.
I guess that's pretty much it for right now. I may do a more substantive update later...or I may drop off the face of the earth again. I'll try to make it the former, not the latter. :)
