Part I

yeah so this is going to sound stupid, but...the journey starts now. i expect this to be finished sometime next year, probably never. inspiration is in everything, you just have to know where to look.

So we played Chapelgate Band Night last evening. We played first, and we played for hardly anyone. The only people watching were the bands and a handful of some other people. No matter, all is good. So our set was okay, but the real fun started after we finished. After we played, Elenor took the stage. Not really my bag, but I could get into them I guess. Basically, they were just really nice and really fun/funny...because later before Fallout played they put on an aerobics song over the P.A. and started doing aerobics in the middle of the floor and dancing...yes, as I say...it was classic. After, Elenor, the flower-loving band, SpOrk (don't forget the capital "O") played. They were also great fun. I got a very big Who/garage rock vibe from them. They were all quite good for their ages, as well. They covered The Pixies and Hendrix AND CHUMBAWUMBA! Oh, yes it was great, and very inspirational. Then the almighty Fallout played and that's always entertaining, especially when Dave is going crazy with "Tourettes" by Nirvana and striking some nice 80s guitar hero poses. That was that, then we headed back to Dan's and unloaded. Then I drove home. Then I got online and talked. Then I stayed up too late and I felt like I was going to pass out brushing my teeth. Then I got to bed. Then I woke up. Then I wasted Saturday with nothing and now I'm here.

"can you hear me now?"

peace and love
