I think the first awesome thing I noticed about Supernatural was the music. When I was in junior high and I had a shitty day, I used to borrow my big brothers music (cassette tapes, motherfuckers) and play the HELL out of them in the basement. Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Guns n' Roses, Metallica, CCR (Dad's tape, technically). Belting out "Thunderstruck" is a fucking blast when you're tired of being a mopey teenager. There was dancing, head banging, air guitar, intense clutching of fake microphones, everything. Oh man, "The Razor's Edge" was great for microphone clutching. Thank God we didn't have a camcorder.
So how awesome is it now that when when a song starts up on the show, I have a damn good chance of being able to sing along? How awesome? SO AWESOME.
And when I'm alone? Oh you bet your ass I'm on my feet.
