So instead of Friday Fandom Fic Rec, it's been changed to Fandom Friday. lol
I'm going to be more diligent about posting stuff on friday, fic recs, video recs, etc. Pretty much whatever catches my eye!
I hope people like what I put up, so enjoy! :)
Every Friday post up to a max of 5 fics you want to rec once a week. Give links to the story, links to the author, a summary and a short blurb of why you recommend the fanfic to your friends.
1) A Finer Command of Language by Arsenic
Summary: I called this the bus accident!fic while I was writing it. Largely because the premise is that Panic gets in a bus accident. I'm clever like that.
Holy crap! This fic is full of so many feelings! Bus accident! The Panic boys! *flails* It's just! Read it!
2) Five Tired Boys and A Broken Down Manager by Jai
Summary: Ten things Brian Schechter learned while babysitting My Chemical Romance.
MCR gets de-aged and poor Brian has to deal with the aftermath. You just feel for the guy and oh, there's also Bob in there, but as a sound guy, not the drummer. This is one of the few fics out there where a writer shows Otter in a favourable light.
3) A Little Less Doolittle, A Little More Noah's Ark by Arsenic
Summary: Mikey and Gerard are friends with the animal kingdom. Pete’s a lawyer. It’s a toss up as to which is less believable.
It's animals and the Way brothers being able to understand animals. What is there not to like about this? It's very adorable and the writer gives the animals so much personality as well.
4) Weekenders Series by ficbyzee
Summary: One of those 16 Candles AUs, set roughly half a year before the events of the music video.
An awesome series focusing on Pete's transition into a vampire and what exactly led up to the events in the Fallout Boy Sixteen Candles music video. A fantastic read, about eight stories in all.
5) This Is An S.O.S. by savvygambols
Summary: The Jonas Brothers on Warped, but it wasn't their idea.
This is hilarious! This is one of my go-to fics for when I'm feeling low and like crap. It cheers me up immediately. Practically almost all of bandom is smushed together on Warped with some additional characters. Give it a read, you won't be disappointed.
