So instead of Friday Fandom Fic Rec, it's been changed to Fandom Friday. lol
I'm going to be more diligent about posting stuff on friday, fic recs, video recs, etc. Pretty much whatever catches my eye!
I hope people like what I put up, so enjoy! :)
Every Friday post up to a max of 5 fics you want to rec once a week. Give links to the story, links to the author, a summary and a short blurb of why you recommend the fanfic to your friends.
1) Keeping a Reflection of You In Hindsight by manipulant
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Brendon is surrounded by vampires. And not in a sexy or dangerous way, more like a “nobody else gets up before six in the evening so I have to do all the errands and yard work myself” way.
It's set in MCR's Danger Day's 'verse and there's vampires! It's mostly set away from where the Killjoys do battle with Korse and focuses on Brendon and how he's just trying to get through life. And now there's a vampire kid in the mix as well! I love reading this as it gives you a different take in the Danger Day's verse and what else might be out there.
2) The Getaway Mile by manipulant
Rating: PG
Summary: Companion piece to Keeping a Reflection of You In Hindsight. All about the lost Killjoy, Bullet Proof.
It's all about Bob. 'Nuff said.
3) Hand On Your Arm by jezzabe
Rating: PG-13
Summary: An AU where Brendon is blind, interviewers are morons, and Pete is Pete.
This story definately tugs on your heartstrings. Blind Brendon is so woobie! But a tough trooper! He carries onmy wayward son!
4) And Weather in the Hearth Alike by carleton97
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Bob Bryar and Patricia Stump's epic romance.
Patrick Stump, always a girl. Bob Bryar. Together, they are epic!
5) Play This Record in Reverse by Mad Science Chick
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Teaser: "You gotta meet this kid," Joe says, and he sounds totally excited, like, so excited it's even making it past the weed and Joe's general mellow. "No, man, I'm serious. He's-he's incredible, okay? I met him at the, you know, the new Borders, down on-anyway, you gotta meet him. He's amazing."
Patrick rolls his eyes. "Okay, fine. Whatever. But if this is a waste of time-"
"It isn't," Joe insists. "He's the guy. Believe me. He's the guy."
