Rewritten scripts Part 2

Hey HO!!!!

Me found something new in me AWE book(s)!!! :]
Check it out

First of all I have to say that I've bought 2 more AWE books. One's a cute lil' children's book (yeah, I'm a total maniac ;p) and the other one is also written after the original script - more or less rewritten. Interesting: The children's book and the "three-in-one" book both stop after Lizzy's speach! *hmm* *thinking* What to make of that?
The three-in-one book and the AWE book have some scenes/lines in common which we didn't see in the movie! Which are these:

1) The scenes I already posted earlier.
2) "Fishface" tells Governor Swann that Lizzy's gone down with the Pearl. The governor is shocked and angry. He tells Norry and then intends to stab the heart!! Hereupon Jones tells him about the consequences of this action and Norry can keep him from stabbing it. That's the secret which Swann has to die for! I guess it is in the movie - I don't remember. But I found this piccy:

So, here is another part of a scene that got cut. It's from the "three-in-one" book.

Scene: Negotiation in Beckett’s cabin on the Endeavour

Characters: Beckett VS Jack

Beckett approached the desk and picked up Jack’s compass. He held it up so Jack could see it.

“You brought me this. I owe you a full pardon…and your pay” Beckett said, smiling.

When he had sent Will away to search for Jack Sparrow, he had promised him a full pardon for Jack in exchange for the compass. And Lord Cutler Beckett was a man who always kept his word…

“Thus I’m offering you a position on behalf of England and the East India Trading Company. You would be under my command.” His smile broadened. The mere imagination of commanding Jack Sparrow was very, VERY tempting and appealing. Sparrow would have to work for those he despised - the company, which destroyed everything the pirates were fighting for. What a brilliant retribution!

But Jack didn’t really seem to be too interested in the bargain. He tilted his head left and clicked his tongue reproachfully.

“I think we’ve already had this once, did we not? And we both know your reaction on rejections.” He lifted his left wrist, where he wore a P, the pirate brand.

Beckett’s face turned cold of anger. Sparrow was impossible! “You had my order to deliver me cargo” he said in an icy tone. “You preferred to free it.”

“Human beings are NO cargo” Jack reminded him.

Beckett shook his head. “You haven’t changed the least. There’s nothing more to say. Enjoy the gallows!”

“I’ve already done that, as it were.” Jack said carefree. “If you got used to the look of it once, it’s not all that bad anymore.”

--------Later in the Negotiation------

“You can keep Barbossa. That aggressive dwarf and his one-eyed mate, too. And Turner. Especially Turner. If he had a twin you could have him too,” Jack said.

“And what about Miss Swann,” Beckett asked suspiciously.

“Well, I doubt that she’s of any value to you,” Jack answered. A knowing smile spread across Beckett’s face...

And this one's from the AWE book which also contains the ending AND the Easteregg-scene!

Scene: Lizzy’s goodbye

Characters: Jack n Lizzy

Before Elizabeth could enter the little dinghy, Captain Jack Sparrow blocked her way. The expression on his usually sneering face was now oddly serious and grown up. Elizabeth stopped.

“Jack,” she sighed, “It would never have worked out between us.”

“Keep telling yourself that, darling,” Jack answered.

He just couldn’t help himself; he had to appeal to her heart one last time.

“Every lord needs a lady,” he whispered low, so only she could hear it. He bowed forward until their lips nearly touched. Then he pulled back. Elizabeth’s heart would forever belong to somebody else. And his would forever belong to the Pearl.

With a last smile at Jack Elizabeth turned around and finally entered the dinghy. It was time for Will…

Pleze, let me know what you think bout these scenes! Comments are always appreciated! :]

Besides, I really love the "Every lord needs a lady" Line...

Have a nice day, mates!!

luv ya,
