caught midway between was and must be

I was thinking of Buenos Aires today, or more specifically about how I have not really been going to the AFI to see movies lately, which reminded me of the BsAs film festival. I looked up the website and apparently today is the last day. It is such an amazing resource!!! For students the films cost less than one dollar (equivalent!) I am about to see what films played.

Also, I have 3.5 weeks left until I am totally done with school. I am not worrying yet, but I have a lot to do between now and then.

1 (one) final thesis
1 final paper for my British novel class
1 final paper for my Shakesqueer class
1 Shakesqueer exam
1 Spanish exam
1 Spanish portfolio
1 exam for Langston Hughes and his Legacy. (haha, also an exam for him and his legacy as a opposed to a class by that name, is funny).
1 jazz or blues poem for Hughes class

Also a final paper for this Hughes class which I am a little stumped on right now. It is a research paper and I am leaning towards using the Toni Morrison novel Jazz, as a base. I like "Sent for you Yesterday" better but to be honest I am a little afraid of taking it on. I do not know what to do though. I am trying to draw some parallels between the inextricable relationship between love and desire to the situation of exile as a result of negotiating past with present necessity in the African American community. Blah blah blah...

Tonight I am going to see "The Lives of Others." Finally.
