(no subject)
Dudes, Friday! I am boosted. I sort of hate getting up in the morning lately but it is so rewarding when the day goes by quickly and radically (which is the case with the minor exception that I could not get my Friday bagel and hummus today because there was no hummus at the jawn!)
I have had a good week. A snow day! I got pretty twisted and then on Valentine's Day did the same. I went to Legal Sea Foods and it was delicious. I also drank a bunch of fancy drinks and then went to Club Five. DJ Godfather was the most fun I have had in months I think.
The best news of the week is that Thursday morning I had an interview with the Oxford program in Barcelona and it went swimmingly. I got accepted and I am really happy. Oxford seemed a little less personal to me but after the interview I was into the program a lot. It was 11am and I was so hung over speaking to a jolly British man who was asking me how many syllables are in "independent" and how to spell "receive" which was sort of ridiculous but I nailed it. I have another interview on Monday and then basically it is just putting down a deposit and buying my plane ticket. I talked to my mom and she told me she was really proud of me which was awesome.
Good one! I am happy the weekend is here even though I will spend a lot of it working on my thesis (maybe) but I bet I will do some fun hanging too!
