11:00am: call Dr. office. leave message to have a prescription filled for test strips.
12:02pm: Dr. office calls, i'm leaving for lunch, don't answer phone, figure they'll leave a message. I'm still waiting for the results of my x-rays and lab work.
12:15pm: driving to fill up gas tank. no message.
1:15pm: decide I don't like that Dr. office didn't leave a message. Fairly certain they called the house and talked to Dad. Dad's past MO is to NOT call me with important info regarding my medical stuff.
1:18pm: call Dr. office. They are at lunch.
1:48pm: call Dr. office. The nurse who fills scripts called my home and spoke to my HUSBAND. I need to call the office to tell them what kind of test strips I need and how many times I check my glucose a day. I informed the receptionist that I do not have a husband, that that was my father, he is altered and would not have called me to tell me this info. The receptionist said the nurse would not have known that. I ask for my home number to be stricken from my record. I also say I need to call back with the info they need.
1:55pm: i'm shaking i'm so bullshit. The info the nurse needed was in my file. It also states in my file that I am SINGLE and that I reside with my FATHER. IT's against the law to discuss medical info with anyone other than the patient.
1:59pm: I call the house and start yelling at my father when he answers. I have no rational reason for this except that I'm pissed off bullshit angry. My father explains he didn't bother to call me with the info from the Dr. office because it was my lunch time. He has my cell #, i'm confused. My father is equally confused because to him I am his pseudo wife, just recently he called me his love.
2:00-4:00pm: I'm aggravated and frustrated for the rest of the afternoon. I'm also feeling bad for yelling. But I'm so very tired of not being given the necessary information that I need for myself so that I'm able to take care of myself.
4:30-5:53: gym. feeling slightly better.
