Bird Songs

Jun 02, 2008 18:54

Yesterday, after deciding not to pay $12 admission to Ipswich River for their festival day, I found myself at Bradley Palmer state park. I didn't have a map, so didn't stray far from the main path.

No binoculars (longish story) so I relied on my ears.

Birds I heard:
black-throated green warbler
ovenbird
eastern wood-pewee
black-capped chickadee
wood thrush
tufted titmouse
red-winged blackbird
northern cardinal
white-breasted nuthatch
