the weekend +
i have a bit of peace for next few weeks since dad went back to Missouri last thursday. it's time to start cleaning cuz dedra says that she's coming to 29 warren st for a few days this summer.
life has been it's usual busy, hectic, overwhelming self. i have this sense that i'm missing something. or not doing something i'm supposed to be doing. i dunno. i can't pinpoint it and that's frustrating, but at the same time i'm not sure i want to pinpoint it.
as usual work has been stressful, but that's nothing new. my boss is toxic and maybe even evil. i talked to darryl about it yesterday and he described the feeling well, but i can't remember what he said.
neo is doing much better. back to 100%, i'd say. i still have a buttload of pills to give him, but he's so good about it. just pop the pill in and he swallows it. i don't even really need to hold him down.
dedra left a message on the machine yesterday saying to call/email her cuz she has info about grandma's house. *shrug* i guess she talked to dad for 2 hours yesterday. (i'm a bad daughter cuz i didn't acknowledge father's day at all.) she said she was relieved about the house situation......but i have to contact her to get the details. why not just tell me in the message?
the weekend
friday: ate dinner with zekejojo, HoZ and their friend at Rock Bottom and then caught Knocked Up. (super super funny movie btw.)
saturday: worked from 9:00am - 1:00. got home. fell asleep. didn't wake up til 8:30am sunday.
sunday: drove to NH, picked up Darryl and drove to the butterfly conservatory in western MA, ate burritos & icecream and listened to good music.
