i was a little nervous at first when shannon was mentioned, because my first thoughts are: "I DON'T WANT POOR SHANNON TO GET HER HEART BROKEN DDD:" etc etc, but i think how it turned out was actually pretty awesome. i smiled a lot. shannon's actually quite fantastic and i hate reading fic that she's degraded (is that the word i want? idk, idk!) in any way. you did a fantastic job though! i love how she mentions that she can't even be mad because how cute they are. OH, IT'S SO TRUE, SHANNON. I'D BE SO MAD AT THESE BOYS FOR RUINING MY LIFE IF THEY WEREN'T. SO. DAMN. CUTE.
this was a completely wonderful piece of writing, sweetie. i almost kind of squeed when i read your summary because lately i've been listening to that song "home" on repeat, and it's always in my head. so yes, that made the story much lovelier for me to read. the song was incorporated into the fic in the best way, and was not cheesy or lame, as i often see. BRAVO, MAGNIFICENT, SUPERB JOB. infinite love for this story.
it made me smile so much it's going in my memories. BAM. ♥ ♥ ♥
