Anyway nice little ficlet, made me giggle about his stearing being more dificult cause I can see the two of them doing that and if Jack hit a reef he'd probably go to hell with a grin on his face thinking 'that was so worth it'

I think he'll sorely miss the monkey when he gets a chance to think about it. Besides, can't you picture the little beast creeping into his cabin at night and curling up next to him?
