Well, with luck this will be the last of the make up labs. I still can't beleive that I missed my own lab by 20 min on thursday. It is especially ironic as I've now been teaching for 2 years. This is the kind of stuff you do the first time out. In good news Allison was much less upset about it than I was. And I've managed to give just about everyone a make up so far. Oh well, I suppose having to get up early is a good thing. I did get up an hour earlier than I would have liked though. Today I'm again scheduled to go man the sign in sheets for the students at the Darwin Exhibit. So to avoid having to pay extra I figured it would be best to take the train. Normally it comes out equal money wise driving in vs the train. However with the extra transport to center city factored in it is cheeper to do public transit. Though time wise it takes longer. Of course it didn't help that I needed to buy septa tokens and then got off a stop too early for the switch from Broad Ridge Spur to Broad Line Local. Boo...
That's ok though. I remembered to grab my city map this time which will be much more helpful. Last weeks forays once again told me how useful and ipod touch could be. But first a new camera or as I keep telling myself I should buy a scanner. and somewhere in there I was going to buy myself a new clarinet too. But first I must continue to get rid of random junk and save up some money.
As for the Darwin Exhibit. It is really cool so I highly recommend going there. The exbibit is being run by the American Philosophical Society. Info can be found
here.
Alright, enough for now. This computer's monitor is very fuzzy. To the point everything looks like it has a close shadow. And it's going to give me headache soon. Blech...
