1. How has LJ changed your life?
LJ hasn't changed my life, but it has allowed me to open up more. Instead of bottling things up and waiting for an inevitable burst of emotions, I've written here. It helps to destress, that's for sure. :-)
Oh, and I've made some cool friends from all across the globe!
2. What do you do before bedtime?
Usually turn my monitor around so it's facing my bed, put a movie or tv show in and plug my wireless headphones head and get comfy, with a glass of water or something.
3. What will your dream wedding be like?
I'm not even sure I really want to get married. I mean, I'm sure when the right person comes along, I'll want to stand up in front of my loved ones and commit myself to that person, but as of right now (not just because I'm single..) I'm not really interested in marriage. Though, if I were, I'd want it to be small and simple, not in a church and short with an exceptionally beautiful party to follow with all my friends and family.
4. What country in the world do you want to visit and why?
Greece. It just looks so beautiful and peaceful there. And the architecture! The food! The people! The art! It's a full package. Oh and Europe. ;-) I'd have to spend like a year touring Europe just so I could visit everyone I know over there. ;-)
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Depends who I'm around I guess. Around folks I don't know, I'm definitely an introvert. But around my friends I'm the wacky extrovert who does stupid things. :-) Once I get to know you, you'll want to get away as fast as possible, that's for sure. ;-)
6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
Definitely being loved by someone. It's such a unique feeling to have someone love you, it's unlike any other. Though, if you love someone and they love you back; that feeling is pretty amazing aswell. So, I guess it depends who you're loving and who loves you.
7. Do you trust easily?
Unfortunately, I do. It's caused alot of grief with friends and family, but I'm learning to put my guard back up. I'm too naive at times and I need to remedy that.
8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Nothing. That person is 'attached' for a reason, I wouldn't want to be the reason for them breaking up. Unless there were hidden circumstances, like there wasn't enough love or trust or whatever in the relationship, then I'd have abit of a sitdown with the person and explain that he needed to get out, for his own good and then go for it. ;-)
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Yes, but things seem to be looking up, slightly.
10. What is your best quality?
I like to think I'm an easy person to be around. That's not always the case, but for the most part I believe it is. I'm pretty laid back as to what kind of activities we do or don't do and am usually up for anything.
11. Is being tagged fun?
I usually don't really like being tagged because then I've got to fill things like this out.. :P
But as
de_pressie said, I feel unloved when I'm not tagged. :P So, thanks to him, I feel loved. :D
12. How do you see yourself?
I've always kind of looked at my negative aspects. Be it my physical self, mental self or emotional self- I always find faults, despite being told I'm ok. Though, in recent weeks, my attempt at a healthy, positive outlook on myself has worked and I quite like myself. ;-)
13. The journey or the destination?
Most certainly the journey.
14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Very personable- even if he talks about not having many friends. He's got a way with words and is as sweet as they come. I don't know him very well, yet [ ;-)] but I do know that I'd like to be able to get to know him better. He just seems like one of those people that always has something interesting to say and never leaves you unsatisfied. I bet if everyone gave him a chance, he wouldn't be able to keep track of the people wanting to friend him! :O
Not that that's a bad thing. ;-)
15. Would you rather be single & rich or married but poor?
Hm, can I just be 'attached' and poor? Single and rich don't really appeal to me, especially if 'single' means without friends aswell. I need people around me, money doesn't mean much and doesn't give you that warm, fuzzy feeling that friends and loved ones do.
16. How many children do you want to have, if any?
Up until last year, I'd always wanted kids- hell, I wanted to be a kindergarten teahcer! But, that's all changed. I did a stint at a elementary school and decided it just wasn't for me and has therefore changed my mind about having kids.. I'm not totally opposed to the idea, but as of right now, it goes with my answer to marriage.
17. What's better to give or to receive?
Give, totally! In any sense, giving is much better and much more satisfying (well, sometimes ;-)) It's just the warm, happy feeling you get when you see the person's face light up when they open a gift from you and you know how happy you've made them. :-)
18. Would you go into that particular sex store if some relatives or colleagues are walking nearby, able to see you?
Probably. I'd be kind of discrete about it though, my folks are sort of prudes. :P But I wouldn't care about colleagues.
19. Would you have 100% safe sex with a stranger for $10,000,000?
If I knew it was 100% safe and I was attracted, sexually, to this stranger, I totally would, probably for less than that.. -.-'
20. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite gender?
Matthew. My aunt and uncle stole it 10 months after I was born and gave it to my cousin! :P
