Notes: This one sucks you in. Zoro is Batman. There are gangs, story line, smut and some OCs that actually work. Unfortunately there are a few cringe worthy Zoro!logic moments and spelling mistakes, but these are few and far between and well worth glazing over.

Author Comments: Comments: This fic was written back in April and May of 2004. It's a collaborative work between ourselves and junkeemunky who helped us work out the character placement and story as well as did four of the six illustrations that go with it. The other two illustrations were drawn by jadeprince and colored by dustyjack. It was written for a contest that Yaoi-Con held, the premise of which was to take a classic fairy tale and retell it ala anime gay sex. We won grand prize in the contest, much to our delight. n_n
The story is based on Hans Christian Anderson's 'The Nightingale', which if you're unfamiliar with, you can read here. It's quite different than anything we've written as we took it upon ourselves to give it a very fairy-tale voice. It has themes of polyamory, so consider yourself warned.

Notes: This is beautiful. I will recommend this fic to anyone who is a Zoro/Sanji fan and who like a bit of Ace in their pairings. It is well written, there is not much I can say without falling over myself with love for this fic.
