Ahh, a fellow American! I agree, the Fourth of July is a fantastic holiday when celebrated responsibly. Back home in Kansas we have some great displays.

The name is Clark Kent - I'm new to the staff here.

*he just ignores 'responsibly' because he gets drunk on a day like that* Now that's what I call some taste! And you're another American! About time I meet another one of you!

Clark, name's Surge. Lt. Surge. Hey!

I certainly am, Sir. I hail from Smallville, Kansas and I'm more currently stationed in Metropolis. Which state are you from?

And a military man at that? I've always had a great respect for our nation's best and brightest. My own Father was in the service during his late teens and twenties, but left once he met my Mother and took over the farm from his Dad.

I'm from around South Carolina, but I traveled a heck of a lot through the states in my years!

*hurhur he feels so proud of himself upon seeing 'our nation's best and brightest SURGE GOD YOU ARE TALKING TO SUPERMAN, FEEL LIKE A WIMP I mean BU* Haha, isn't that so?! Not bad! I was in the military for years before I resigned because of gym leader duties!

Ahh, South Carolina is a wonderful state from what I hear. Unfortunately I've never taken the time to visit.

Oh, you run a Gym? I've never been much of one to go to the Gym myself but it must be an interesting profession.

You ought to, man! I've been to Kansas a couple of times! Pretty amazin' place!

Not just any old gym, a Pokemon gym!

... Wait, you know what Pokemon are, right?

I'm particularly fond of the Mid American Air travel Museum in Kansas. It has a lot of great exhibits.

I'll admit I'm not familiar with the term Pokemon Gym. Is that something like Yoga?

I dunno, I'm not some museum person! Now, a war museum...

It's where Pokemon trainers battle Pokemon in friendly spars for badges! C'mon, you don't know what Pokemon are?

Oh - I figured you might appreciate at least the World War One and Two displays. A lot of the old Bi-Planes and even some of the larger fighters were made in Kansas, you know.

I'm sorry, again, I'll have to admit I'm not familiar with the term 'Pokemon'. You'll have to enlighten me.

...

They've got displays of that?! JACKPOT And fighter planes? Now you've changed my mind! Now I've gotta see that!

They're magical creatures with different elements! They can be fit into Pokeballs with ease! My Pokemon have helped me zap my enemies into oblivion in the war!

Of course. Kansas used to be one of the largest production centres for airplanes in the early 20th century and still produces a great deal of them now.

Magical creatures? I'm starting to think we come from different versions of the same country - There aren't any magical creatures where I'm from. Just regular animals.

Gives me an excuse to travel back to Kansas sometime then!

Hey, hey, there aren't any Pokemon in America! I moved from America to Kanto years ago. They have Pokemon all over the place there!

I'm not aware of a country called Kanto. There's an area of Honshu in Japan that's known as Kantō, but it's got no magical creatures either of which I'm aware.

So are we talking about Dragons and Unicorns and Gryphons here, or something else entirely?

Heh, not that Kanto! This Kanto's kinda far from America.

Nothin' like that! I can't explain it. It's something you've gotta see!

Well, how do you get there? What continent is it on, exactly?

And given the opportunity I'd very much like to see these magical animals.

Kanto's its own continent! It's kinda near Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh! *lol probably not helping*

Well, you're a lucky guy, 'cause I've got one of them here! I've got my Raichu!
