It feels like I've been waiting for EVER (as many of you will know I am NOT good at being patient). But finally, yesterday we got some news on Alice's new album! We've known the title for a while but little else and now we have all this:
'Along Came A Spider' release dates, through SPV/Steamhammer will be the following:
Germany, Austria, Switzerland: July 25th
Rest of Europe: July 28th
North America: July 29th
The CD was co-produced by Greg Hampton and Danny Saber in Los Angeles. Alice recently told Billboard.biz that his forthcoming LP is "a real 'Alice' album. Conceptually, it's going to be pretty interesting." Cooper wouldn't reveal too many details, but said the album is based on a fictional serial killer named Spider, who wraps his victims in a silk web. "Every song is sort of a letter to the police," he explains. "They think they're investigating it from the outside, but he's actually woven them into the whole thing."
