Vampire Diaries Season opener
**Spoilers behind cut**
First of all... Ummm... clearly was counting the hours all day (doesn't help being on vacation fyi)
Second Totally didn't dissapoint
Third need to get a slight Spoiler Free rant of my chest. CW WTF is with all the damn drinking on your shows? Now I am not a prude and I do drink and I will admit I have tried another substance once which left me starring at a silverware drawer while opening and shutting it for like 3 hours. But do they not realize that a good 70% of their audience is under 21? I mean you have an entire house drinking and smoking pot and it is just ok. The whole damn network glorifies drinking as part of the everyday life of a teenager. I am not stupid, I know it happens, but not to the extent the CW insists on showing it. At least they had the decency to have (slight spoiler but nothing to get your panties in a bunch over) Matt and Jeremy walking home...although that wasn't because they were both stoned. I mean jeez.

Stefan rips apart bodies and puts them back together. Hello Ed Gein much (*cough* Texas Chainsaw Massacre). I was so disturbed by Stefan. He officially wins in the creepy/gross department over Damon.
I realize that Elena doesn't know this and that she doesn't know about Andie, but I found that phone call at the end of the show to be so gag worthy. Poor Stefan he is separated from Elena because he had to save Damon.... I don't care! He ripped people apart an fucking put them back together on the couch! It makes me sick that Elena, who I find to be a somewhat strong female character, is dumbed down to the point of forgiving Stefan for all of this. I had a hard enough time believing her forgiving Damon for "killing" Jeremy and Stefan for almost killing Amber.
I can't take the Stelena love. Stefan is crying after clearly enjoying torturing werewolf guy. At least Damon owns it and doesn't cry while listening to Elena's voice.
I want Damon to tell Elena everything and get the fuck out of dodge for awhile. Damon never wanted to be the good guy. I want him out being the bad guy again! Tell Elena, then decide what you really want to be. Do you want to be the good vampire babysitter of all things teenager in Mystic Falls or do you want to be the vampire badass again.
Poor Stefan. Fuck that. Poor Damon.
