Merry Christmas everyone. I had a quiet one at home with family, my half brother and his wife came down from South Africa. I have been ushering for a christmas play in the period leading up to christmas. Went to see a lime stone cave the other day.I am going down to port waikato for new years with friends and having a beach party. Ok I get really reflective around my birthday and new years so here is my favourite moments, top tens,firsts, ect of 2005.
Firsts:
1) First time I got drunk, yep only happened this year at either port waikato or at fieldschool depending on who you ask.
2) First (and last) time I drunk so much I threw up, at my 21st.
3) My first archaeology dig, Fieldschool Kohika Jan\Feb
4) First time I finished a degree (graduation ceremony is next year though)
5) First cricket game ( and first club game for takapuna) since 2000
6) first wicket, first catch, best bowling figures and highest score
7) Learnt Spanish for the first time

Silverthorn and A darkness at Sethanon by Raymond E. Feist
Wizards first rule by Terry Goodkind
Illiad by Homer (I am reading the odessy at the moment)
