O.O - OK - so, it's not that little.
Only a little bit of an update - my Linux box continues to be wonky - I guess that's what I get for using a 9 year old computer. ;) Work's also been hectic, as anyone who knows what I do can imagine, since it's partially tied to the unemployment rate.
I do have one important thing to share, though - despite all odds I actually got a promotion out of customer service! Yay! To quality auditing! More yay! Maybe I'll get over my aversion to phones, finally. Turns out my stumbling block may have been my old supervisor, who is no longer with the bank, despite what she told me. Office politics. :P Sparkstealer just pawn in game of life.
The good news is, they needed someone in my new position so badly, I got to start almost immediately, complete with pay raise. The bad news is, because there was no official two week notice, I still have to help out on the phones Mondays and Tuesdays until the 13th.
On top of this, we're finally going to be able to make a move we've been trying to do all year, but they hadn't had an apartment open until just recently. It'll be a better layout, and have a washer & dryer included; it will also have a balcony that I plan on using for herb gardening & painting. But not painting the herbs, because that would be, well, weird.
So, yeah, everything's a bit overwhelming right now, but in a good way. Except the PC problems, those suck.
