Among the too many things to count in the realm of "new experiences":
a. Mortal Tears
b. WATCHING The Nutcracker
c. Left home.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Oh hell no, but I will try again.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Andrew Sue is now a proud father (and it took him long enough to come up with the beautiful name Maya).
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes. Three people this year.
5. What countries did you visit?
I did not have the chance to travel outside the country this year, but I did make it to the east coast for the first time!
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Personal strength. Forasmuch as I am the rock to my friends, and I am not solid enough for myself.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I dont have the exact date in my mind (it is in my calendar book), but I can tell you it was a Monday. It is the day I left Matt.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I am not dead.
9. What was your biggest failure?
There are so many I feel right now, I can not choose.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes, many times.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Dinner(s) for friend(s).
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
The people who deserve merits in my life know how much they are loved (or I hope they do, even if we do not speak as often as I wish we did).
13. Whose behavior, what situations appalled and depressed you?
This is something that .... other people do not need to know.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Gas. Living nowhere and ever where at once.
15. What events did you get really, really, really excited about?
Every performance. I still love it.

Troubled. Confused. Unfocused.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Spend more time with friends.

Fight.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Split. My Grandmother is in the hospital (again) and my dad just got out. This is the problem with the terminally ill.
21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
That question hurts.
22. What was your favorite TV program?
I dont actually watch TV, but I am hooked on Eureka on SciFi. It is bad and good in so many ways.
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No. The only person I have ever hated in my life is dead.
24. What was the best book you read?
I read too many books to choose one. I did discover two new authors while editing their manuscript. I am excited for more.
25. What was your greatest musical discovery or rediscovery?
Oh... this goes two ways.
Frank Tichelli Blue Shades - It has a LONG time since I have played something that hard and satisfying!
Eric Bibb. I saw him up in Mount Vernon and enjoyed every moment.
26. What did you want and get?
An answer about what is wrong with my hands.
27. What did you want and not get?
So many things... but it does not matter. If I did not get it, move on. Life moves forward and does not wait.
28. What were your favorite films of this year?
I can't think of that many... No Country For Old Men is on there.
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was alone. I turned 27.
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
The ability to sleep.

Comfort!

My two cats. My friends.
33. What political issue stirred you the most?
The downfall of the economy, the mortgage market (prime/sub prime) The agendas of some corporations and how they are able to doctor their books. Blah blah blah....
34. Whom did you miss?
I still miss my Grandfather. It has been two years.
35. Who was the best new person you met?
Thinking about "new" people that I have met, four faces stand out. two here in Seattle, one in Florida and one in Chicago. They are all at different points in my life, all have different meaning to me. There is no *best* person.
