i accidentally clicked on your journal instead of "indielanta" to see what other recent posts had been made on the indielanta community.

anyway, recently, i've been listening a lot to:

those are not my 13 favorite cds, but they're probably the 13 i've been listening to the most recently, roughly in order of frequency.

ah yes, i do vaguely remember you.

i skipped some grade like kindergarden or something when i was really little so i was a year ahead of my age group for a few years, and then i stayed in mrs. mears' 2nd grade class for an extra year.
i guess i wasn't as smart as they thought i was.

i remember i was best friends with this kid named jake.
and jake's 2nd best friend was ben, but jake was ben's best friend, and we'd all hang out by the swings on the playground and i'd go to jake's house and there was this squirrel named squirrly that (we thought) came to his house every year and we'd play sonic the hedgehog and slide around on his hardwood floors in slippery socks.

now i'm a senior at north springs.

i remember jake...he stuck his gum behind his ear, which freaked me out. thanks for sharing your memories.
