Wow. Whirlwind weekend. (How's that for alliteration?)
Ski camp last week was fantastic. Beautiful alps, wonderful friends and deep discussions. Sadness at saying goodbye, as always, but it was well worth it, I do believe.
And now I'm back at uni. Break went by so fast and I'm not ready to be back in this country, really. Got to read/continue reading some really thought-provoking books over break, like our prof Preston Jones' book of email conversations with Greg Graffin of Bad Religion. Fascinating look at naturalism, at honest conversation, at truth. And this one I am still reading about the "new monasticism." My heart is pulled toward it, though I see the difficulty of it also. But relationships and communities are always difficult.
I don't know if I'm ready to plunge back into studies. I'm a little frightened of them at this moment. Work went well today though, looking forward to work this semester.
