Happy New Yaaaaaaaar!
wow. it is the New Year.
have i but one resolution..?
absolutely not.
my life right now consists of myself knitting, working full time at Bad Ass (which really does take up an unbelievable 50% of my time), watching the LAKERS (which i would say takes up..25%, because i have to take into account the time i talk about them, the three hour games i watch..), 10% of my time is spent continuously studying languages..trying to learn them studiously, another 10% is me just cutting things and gluing them..hopefully for inspiration for more writing or at least another outfit, and that last measly 5% of my life is spent doing everything else..shopping, eating..going to the bank..alll that good stuff..oh and i usually incorporate all my friends into any of those basics above...usually the Bad Ass one..that's why Bad Ass is almost my whole life..sad. i know.
i know i usually would sit here and kvetch for about 8 more paragraphs..but i find that not kvetching makes me feel better. you know? i mean..nobody likes a kvetch. especially me.
i'm fine though. nothing to kvetch about..and if there is..whatever. my new philosophy.
anyway. there's nothing new.

anyway. this is the section of my journal where i rant and rave about the Los Angeles Lakers..of which i adore..
LAKERS vs. Cavs = W!!!
after losing to the frickin Trailblazers the LAKERS seriously needed to win this one to redeem themselves (even though i'm sure if one of them smiled they would have won me back in an instant!!) It was a fun game..it was very close..which personally are not my favorite games to watch..especially against a GOOD team like the Cavaliers. i like when the LAKERS blow teams out of the water..ya know?
What really surprised me about this game was the numbers..all that number jibberish..that frankly i'm in love with. I mean, Kobe was the primary scorer..but it wasn't some 40 point barrage, and the closest to him is..i don't know..chris mihm with 10 points!..this game was very nice, considering all of the LAKERS starters were in double figures (actually..i don't believe Kwame got into double figures..but he had a great defensive night)..anyway..Odom had 20 points!! i believe Mihm was next with like 15?? Then Smush..i just can't believe how nice they all played last night. i also like how Sasha and Cookie really were showing their inept abilities to catch and shoot..those are always fun. I really like seeing Odom and Kwame really work the windows tonight..Chris Mihm was really impressive..a verry good night for him..he even got a dunk or two in. He blocked some shots..AND MADE SOME!! wow. ::i clap my hands::i think when he's intimidated by another GOOD center like Zagdrunas Iligauskas (a favorite center of mine..he's talented)..he tends to do muuuch better. Especially his scoring..cause we've seen him do it..he just needs to be consistant with it..just like Lamar Odom and Smush Parker..they need to play more consistant ball. I mean, Kobe is human..is he really?? yes, he is. poor guy hurt his wrist last night..but he still played..so i'm guessing that it wasn't all that bad..but then again, you sometime can't feel an injury hurt badly when you're really warmed up..hopefully it's a minor injury..cause if not..my prospects aren't GOOD for the HEAT game. (AT STAPLES!!) But Kobe only made 30-some baskets last night..not a 40 day..but still impressive. i wanna see more Cookie..and that's where i'm gonna end this. oh yeah..and shouldn't Slava Medvedenko be back by now??
GO LAKERS!! beat the Warriors and claim your spot at Number 3!
oh yeah. beat the HEAT too. but i'll get more into that after the Warriors game.
