Yeah, I'm totally unsophisticated. To the max, in fact. And as proof, I offer you this little tidbit: my DVD collection outgrew the bookshelf I'd been keeping it on, so rather than buy a new, bigger shelf for them, I scavenged an unused one from somewhere else in the house, stacked it on top of one I already had, and duct-taped them together to keep them from doing something in the realm of bad.
That's right, my DVDs don't just live on one particle board bookshelf -- they live on two, stacked on top of each other, and duct-taped for stability. *wins the hick contest* [We also have the working TV stacked on top of the broken TV in the living room going for us, but the broken one is one of those old ones in the really pretty wooden box thing, so I guess that's not quite as bad.]
