Hello, Germany!

Dec 27, 2003 16:08

So, it's halfway through my first day in Germany, and I'm typing very slowly, because the keyboard is very different from an American one. I'm wicked jet lagged, having gotten only about an hour of sleep in the past day and a half or so, and it's still light out, so I don't have a chance of really sleeping until a few hours from now.

The in-flight movie was some German soccer movie. I decided to listen to the techno/dance station instead, which caused me to have visions of Brian and Justin dancing in my head the whole flight. Wheeeee!

And now I'm sitting in my uncle's office, missing my laptop terribly because I can't type on this stupid thing. Oh well.

I hear Maine is going to get snow soon. ::sigh:: This place is green and warmish, and it's kinda depressing, really. I suppose I'll get over it, though, when I go shopping and hang out and see the sights and gorge myself on some of the tastiest chocolate in the world. Yeah, that'll be fun. ::grins in anticipation::

I can't write half of what I'd like to, what with my parents hovering behind me and the fact that this monitor's resolution is 800x600 and I'm pretty sure it's a 15-inch screen. ::pause:: Yeah, I'm over it. My location kinda helps.
