The math looks alright to me, but I'm no expert either. XD
I pretty much agree with everything you said. Well said. :) I am both so excited and nervous for the next episode, I think we will have a much better idea of where they're taking this character after that, not to mention answers as to why he is the way he is. Given the way Max Adler has talken about the character I can't help but think he knows there are redeeming scenes in the future. I mean he knows what's in the episodes that are filmed, and he seems really positive and even excited about all this, so that makes me feel a little reassured that even if things first go very bad they will eventually get better. Or maybe I just read too much into things.

That's my hope exactly! And not just because I'm developing a big ol' celebrity crush on Max. I actually, genuinely care about Karofsky's redemption as a character. *maybe draws a few hearts, a little*
Me to. It's been a long time since I've felt this invested in a character on television, and cared this much about how their story goes. I think I'm just a sucker for redemption-type storylines, and when Max managed to do that whole kiss scene and fill it with so much raw emotion I was just blown away. I so badly want to see Karofsky change and grow. I think he's a very important character right now, if it's done right. And I'm way too nervous that they will screw this up.
THIS explains so perfectly why I'm so obssessed with Karofsky's arc (and why I've been writing more fanfic in a week than I did for for the past few years XD).
This is the second time today someone replied to my comments with THIS. I'm on a roll. XD But yeah, there's so much potential with this character and this storyline, it's inspiring a whole lot of great fics. I have a fic idea myself (and I haven't written anything worth posting in a few years either), but I think I'll wait until after next week to see how the spoilers play out before I decide how to write it.

I take the lazy route when it comes to fic ideas -- at least a half-dozen Kurtofsky prompts at the various anon memes came from my brain. :D

They could definitely go the easy way out and leave him as he is now. I like to think they've got a bit more of a handle on the show than that, though. And given the outpouring of fan support for Max's portrayal of Karofsky, I'm hoping the writers do the character justice.
Funny how quickly a character can develop dimensions on a show like Glee isn't it? Karofsky went from cookie cutter villain to something much deeper over the course of a 45-minute episode. If the writers can do that, my hope is they can do much more with him.
Yeah, I hope they see that and decide to keep him around. I mean, with the talent he has it needs to be used and explored. Can't believe they had him walking around throwing slushies all this time.
It really is. I wouldn't even say it took a 45-minute episode, it took a few minutes and one amazing scene. Suddenly he's the most complex character on the show. You'd think that after a scene like that they would want to do much more with him.
For me, it wasn't even the kiss that really cinched my newfound love for Karofsky -- it was the follow-up scene on the stairs with Blaine and Kurt attempting to talk to him about the kiss that did it.
