I think my favorite song on the show so far was the Maybe This Time pseudo-duet with Kristin Chenoweth and Lea Michele. I must have watched/listened to that thing a hundred times, I love it so much! But, yeah, you can tell that the cast is really having fun with these songs; it's a treat to watch (and hear! ^___^).
There are a lot of characters who I'm interested in seeing get some spotlight this season (mostly so I can hear what they really sound like individually, outside of the group harmony--as much as I like Lea Michele, I don't want her to sing every song). The person I'm really curious to hear is Jenna Ushkowitz; we got to hear her sing "Tonight," but she deliberately sang that below her capacity and skill level because that's what was needed for the scene. I want to hear her really belt a song out; I think it'll be awesome.
I've never seen Nip/Tuck, but now that you've mentioned it, I can totally see that the creator loves complexity, with all the fake pregnancies and hidden pregnancies and exposed secrets and love triangles flying around on Glee, haha!
Ahhhh, I hope they let Mark Salling grow his hair out sometime! I saw a picture of him at some event where his hair was cut short, to an even length with no babyhawk or shaved sides, and I was, like, "#happy sigh# THERE! That's more like it!"
I'm really excited for Artie to have a solo, I think. I don't know if he's got one coming up or not, but I feel like he's got the pipes for lead in at least a song or two.
SWEET CAROLINE HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD SINCE LAST NIGHT, HELP! This wouldn't be so bad if I knew the words beyond, "Sweeeeet Car~o~line, whoa whoa whoa!"
