I really hope they remake Wuthering Heights soon [IMDB says they are] because Ralph Fiennes aside, the current version puts me to sleep every time with its boring, droning narrator and its women's terrible mall hair. What I like about modern movie renditions of old stories is that, I assume anyway, they try to be a little more accurate with the hair. It's really distracting to me when there are mullets and crimped, bleached hair all over my TV screen in a period piece. And ' holy crap, 1992 version of Wuthering Heights, you're terrible when it comes to this.
I'm sure the acting is okay, but I can't do it. :(
I'm seeing Friday the 13th today with some friends and their friends from Long Island. And then I won't sleep for three days. :| I hope my ability to dream about being chased by a psycho killer after watching horror movies has, you know. Diminished. It's been a good while since I watched a slasher flick -- never got the opportunity to see My Bloody Valentine -- so I guess we'll see tomorrow, whether I've slept or not.
Contra dance tonight, yay!
