Madeleine L'Engle, one of my favorite authors, died yesterday of god knows what. Im very sad. The world has lost a very talented writer and a visionary mind. I remember reading A Wrinkle In Time as a nine year old and feeling really similar to the main character Meg cause we were both misfits. Meg and her brother and her boyfriend traveled to strange worlds and destroyed evils. L'Engles books celebrated math, science, spirituality and art. She placed Einstein and Buddha on par with Jesus which got her book banned in many places. She was a true revolutionary and a genius.
