Ugh, okay, I have been gone. What have I been up to?
Playing board games. Hosting the first meeting of our writing group. Dealing with a lot of shake-up at work. Trying to save money. Focusing on my posture. Getting eight hours of sleep a night (I recommend it.) Submitting the same story to new magazines. Making a dance. Taking a workshop. Talking to Paul. Cooking up insane & fiery dreams, then letting them lie fallow. Watching movies without crafting (Face/Off was amazingly awful). Playing video games. Cleaning the house, again. Keeping daily lists of accomplishments. Taking the stairs. Paying attention to my arms and how I use them. Buying jeans (ack). Making obsessive to-do lists. Free-writing. Being nice to myself (comparatively).
What have I not been doing?
Writing a resume for the volunteer gig I am interested in, due to being underqualified and feeling sad about that. Burning out. Exercising. Biking. Crafting. Blogging. Calling my family. Traveling. Practicing foreign languages.
Well, that was useful to me, anyway. Welcome to my life! It is mostly verbs!
