You left out the part about being thankful for what they have, Tamaki. That's rather the point of the holiday, and where the name comes from, besides.

Praise isn't exactly the same thing, though, is it? Because you can be thankful for something quietly or loudly, while praising something rather implies that you have to do it loudly in the first place.

But I must admit, I do hope my turkey--or turkeys, I suppose, since with so many people coming, we might need more than one--comes out as nicely as that one looks.

I'd like to think I'm rather good at it, yes. I only ask because I know some people don't eat it, and we're all trying very hard to make sure everyone has something they like at dinner on Thursday.

Oh... well, as for dinner - unless it's a diet restriction, you eat what's on the table thankfully, right? Because someone worked quite hard for it.

Yes, that's just it. But for those people who do have restrictions and preferences, we want them to feel just as welcome, too, and make sure that no one is left out of things they like.
