I expect it's cheating if it's the sort of wish that can only be fulfilled by the person it's about.

Wishes aren't a game, you know. There's no such thing as cheating, as long as it's something from the heart.

You're right. Though... growing up with my brothers, almost everything's a game.

Without saying that men don't feel as strongly or as kindly as do ladies - it's true that everyone simply experiences things differently. What's true for them doesn't have to work for you. And so what comes up as a game or a gamble for some people, can still be very meaningful to you.
