Me: I bought these shoes 7 weeks ago and this on has completely ripped away from the sole.
Clerk: Well, they look wet.
Me: They're not
Clerk: Did you wear them outside?
Me: Um, yes..(isn't that what shoes are for???)
Clerk: Sometimes if you wear shoes outside, this can happen.
Me: I'd like them replaced, please.
Clerk: I don't think I can do that.
Me: Can you please point me to the warning label on the box or tag that states that wearing shoes outside may render them unfunctioning?
Clerk: We don't label our shoes with that.
Me: How am I supposed to know that the shoes I purchased here aren't for outdoor use?
Clerk: That can happen.
Me: The other pair I bought here on the same day look BRAND NEW and they also have been worn outside.
Clerk: Let me see if we can find you a new pair.
