seriously...what the heck is wrong with kids?
...overheard in Rite-Aid today:
urban youth: how much dese?
cashier: 33 cents
urban youth: how much for two?
cashier (rolling her eyes): 66 cents
*note: there was a sign posted in front of the candy bars saying 3 for 99 cents.
this is so sad. I don't blame the schools. I don't blame the teachers. I do blame the parents who are too lazy to teach their children to think for themselves and do basic arithmetic. This was not a 10 year old kid....and don't even get me started on the rudeness displayed by said urban youth by yelling this to the cashier while she was waiting on someone else.
